Intro. to me and my two addictions

Simply put I play poker and I sell wine, do these two items work together? Well maybe yes and maybe no, but in the end without one I couldn't do the other. I have sold wine on and off for the past 10-15 years and I have played poker more on than off for the past 8, I'm a recognizable person who is often mistaken for someone else or "that guy" as I have often been told. I began my quest in the wine industry to make a living and I began my life in the poker world to... well make a living. Funny how neither have created the outcomes I expected. The economy has crushed my very successful career as a sales person and the economy has crushed my ability to afford the poker circuit, so I now push the juice to the levels that afford me the occasional buy in at the local tournament and if all going well (dropping a pallet here and there) I play in the bigger more "televised" editions of poker tournaments. Do I know my wines... Yes.. to a level that rivals most. Do I have my master somm. certificate? No Do I know my cards, Yes.. to a level that should create an income and a name for myself. Yes...well I think so anyway.
